Syria's Benchmark Telecom Contractor
Founded in 1994 in Homs, World Tech Co. began as a specialist installer of PBX and exchange systems for Syrian enterprises. Through deep technical excellence and consistently delivering on large-scale contracts, we grew to become the go-to partner for the nation's leading telecom operators.
Today our 60-strong team of engineers — holding 12 Huawei certifications alongside credentials from Ericsson, ZTE, Siemens, Marconi, Nera and GTC — executes turnkey projects across every layer of the telecom stack: from civil works and cabling through active equipment commissioning to long-term managed maintenance.

1994
Foundation
World Tech Co. is Founded
Established in Homs, Syria, with a focus on PBX and enterprise telephone exchange installation. Early clients include local businesses and government institutions across the Homs governorate.
1998
Telecom Expansion
First Major Telecom Contract
Secured the first large-scale telecommunications infrastructure contract, expanding capabilities into transmission equipment and copper access network installation for the Syrian national telecom operator.
2002
Fiber Optics
Fiber Optic Division Launched
Invested in specialist fiber optic splicing and testing equipment. Began delivering backbone and last-mile fiber projects for Intracom and early national broadband initiatives — laying the foundation for over 276 km of fiber deployed to date.
2004
Huawei Partnership
Huawei Cooperation Begins
Commenced formal cooperation with Huawei Technologies as a certified service partner. Engineers enrolled in Huawei certification programmes in GSM, transmission and access technology — beginning a partnership that now spans over 4 years of joint project delivery.
2006
Industrial Projects
Petrofac Oil Field Fiber Network
Delivered a complete fiber optic and structured cabling network for Petrofac's oil field operations in Homs governorate — establishing our capability in harsh-environment industrial deployments and winning recognition from the international engineering community.
2008
National Scale
STE DSLAM Nationwide Rollout
Awarded the Syrian Telecom Establishment's ADSL infrastructure rollout — deploying 106 DSLAM sites and enabling over 30,000 broadband ports across Syria. The project marked our transition to truly national-scale engineering operations.
2009
3G / WCDMA
Huawei WCDMA Rollout — 67 Stations
Led the installation and commissioning of 67 Huawei WCDMA base stations for MTN Syria — one of the country's largest 3G infrastructure programmes. Project scope covered civil works, BTS installation, transmission backhaul and RF optimisation.
2011
RFI Qualification
Huawei Syria TE Service Frame Approval
Pre-qualified by Huawei for the Syria TE Service Frame Bidding programme — demonstrating registered capital, revenue performance, and a full complement of 12 Huawei-certified engineers meeting international contractor standards.
2024
